Delivery personnel are easily confused by the complex of buildings that all look alike at Riderwood and, sometimes, even go to “side” entrances to drop off packages. Riderwood management recommends the following, depending on the carrier, to help avoid mistakes during deliveries.

  • “Non-Amazon” Deliveries — use addresses listed in the tables, above.
    • Include building name and apartment number.
    • We are further advised that FedEx and UPS will continue to deliver packages to apartment doors, and,
    • Amazon and USPS deliveries will be available at community front desks.
  • Amazon, Grocery, Food Deliveries
    • E.g., DoorDash, InstaCart, GrubHub
  • Use the delivery address for your neighborhood, including building and apartment number, as in these examples:

riderwood directional signVisitors to Riderwood Village residents are normally directed to apartments by personnel at the entrance gates. However, it is useful to advise visitors, before arrival, about how to find apartments.

  1. Those who are “geographically challenged” can wander around for a long time.
  2. Consider directing visitors to a clubhouse for directions to specific apartments or meeting them there.
  3. Advise them to watch for SIGNS directing to neighborhoods / club houses.
  4. GPS: Some navigation devices do not work well on campus. This can cause Uber and taxi drivers to end up at the wrong place or wrong (side) entrance.
