If you are curious about the 4-digit code following the 20904, head to the USPS Zip Code Locator and enter your address, including your apartment number. You will see your correct 4-digit code which follows 20904. Each residential building has a set of codes that depend on ranges of apartment numbers within the building. These codes are used to help the USPS sorting facilities organize the mail for delivery.
Billing Address
Regardless of the type of delivery, the billing address for all transactions should be your official USPS address.
Shipping/Delivery Address
The recommendations for shipping addresses depend on the carrier, to help avoid mistakes during deliveries. You can add the building abbreviation to the apartment number (such as OP-802) for clarity. However, many online businesses that use the USPS address verification tools will not accept the two-letter building code as part of the apartment number. In those cases, just use the official USPS address.
- Package Deliveries
- Use the standard USPS address as above, with the two-letter building code when it is accepted
- USPS and Amazon will deliver packages to the front desk
- FedEx and UPS will deliver packages to apartment doors
- Grocery & Food Deliveries (e.g., DoorDash, InstaCart, GrubHub, Giant, Harris Teeter)
- Use the delivery address for your clubhouse, as shown in the table below; delivery drivers must enter through the main clubhouses, since the individual building entrances are locked.
- Include clubhouse name, building name, and full apartment number (e.g., OP-802, as on your door)
- Grocery and food companies will deliver to apartment doors.

Arbor Ridge Addresses
For residents of Arbor Ridge, all mail and package deliveries should be addressed to the front desk, and will be delivered to resident rooms by staff. In Arbor Ridge, residents have 4 digit apartments numbers, where the first digit is the building number and the remaining 3 digits are the apartment number within the building.

Addresses for Visitors
Visitors to Riderwood Village residents are normally directed to apartments by personnel at the entrance gates. However, it is useful to advise visitors, before arrival, about how to find apartments. Consider directing visitors to a clubhouse for directions to specific apartments, or meeting them there. Advise them to watch for SIGNS directing to the clubhouses. Remind visitors that sometimes navigation devices do not work well on campus because of our strange addresses. This can cause Uber, Lyft and taxi drivers to end up at the wrong place or wrong entrance.
