Village Early Music Ensemble

The Village Early Music Ensemble is a group of men and women singers plus recorders led by Marketa Ebert.  Our music comes from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance, a time when people not only sang and played instruments to amuse themselves (this being the time before radio, TV, or YouTube), but who also wrote a lot of their own music.

The singers meet the every Thursday of the month at 2:00 pm (the rehearsal location varies).   For more information or if you are interested in joining us, please contact Marketa Ebert.  Contact Marketa at earlymusic@riderwoodlife.com.
