Short Courses

The Continuing Education Committee established Short Courses as an innovative program by and for residents. Operating since March 2023, Short Courses offers sessions twice a year. Instructors, who are either Riderwood residents or outside guests, volunteer their time and expertise to teach for the benefit of the community. Courses are available without charge, span two to four weeks, and are offered either on campus or via Zoom.

Note: The Short Courses program is not affiliated with either Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) or its SAGE program (Seasoned Adults Growing Educationally).

For more information on Short Courses, contact committee members Diane Willen or Jennie Lane. Their contact information is in the Resident Directory of MyErickson.
