Experiment with art materials without expectation or judgement. Join the fun and exercise your brain. These classes are a mixture of instruction from a teacher or, just studio with interaction between participants.
Friday afternoon, 1:00pm – 3pm

What’s your favorite medium? You don’t know? Well, it could be tissue or fabric or ribbon or paper. Make collages or flowers or – you name it. Discover new sources of your creativity, conscious or unconscious on the first 3 Fridays of the Month and share your art passion with other residents (4th Friday).
First Friday of the month: Zentangle
The class is generally comprised of residents who have taken a Zentangle class (next one in September) or are self-taught or are just curious. We gather to work on our own projects, and share ideas and techniques. Haven’t tried it yet? Try it out (even without training). Registration is not required.

Second and Third Fridays of the month: Adventures in Craft
Expand the scope of your “inner artist” (artiste?) Each month we create a different project which might fill both weeks. – using different media and surfaces from t-shirts to tissue paper.
Class size is limited. On the first of each month, Melanie will announce the art project via email, and on the bulletin board, with a reminder to register. Please register PRIOR to the class.
Fourth Friday of the month:
Adventures in Watercolor/ Water Media
This is an “open studio” for artists able to work on their own. Bring materials and media. We’ll share ideas, encouragement and support. We paint – no pressure, no critique, just a lot of fun.
