The Veterans Legacy Group (VLG) welcomes all veterans, along with spouses of service members and those who served in wartime roles such as Cadet Nurses, Air Raid Wardens, Wartime Merchant Mariners, and more.
We are a community of shared history and mutual support. Our meetings provide a space for members to share personal service experiences, learn about current veteran benefits, and stay connected with the broader Riderwood community.
What we do
The VLG proudly organizes and participates in annual events that honor our nation’s history and those who served:
- Flag Day Ceremony – Celebrating the symbol of our nation.
- Memorial Day Observance – Honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
- Veterans Day Program – Recognizing the service of all who have worn the uniform.
All residents are welcome to attend our meetings and events, whether you have served or simply wish to honor those who have.
Join the Conversation
If you are a veteran, a spouse, or have served in a wartime support role, we invite you to join our group to share your story, connect with others, and be part of our living legacy.
Our meetings take place the 2nd Friday of each month, 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Village Square (VSQ) Music Room
