Neighbors In Deed (NID)

Neighbors in Deed (NID) is a group of Riderwood residents who volunteer to help independent living residents with everyday needs such as picking up meals, sewing on a button, opening a jar, feeding a cat, walking a dog, assisting with minor computer or TV problems, etc. Current volunteers with contact information are listed in the Neighbors In Deed Directory available at all front desks as well as online on MyErickson under Resident Resources. The online directory on MyErickson is updated more frequently than on paper.

To become a volunteer, fill in the NID volunteer form by downloading it here or pick one up at any front desk. Completed forms can be returned to any front desk. To get help, consult the directory for volunteers and the services they perform, all without cost. Instructions are in the directory.

Martha Lott and Liz Peddicord co-chair Neighbors In Deed. They can be reached at indeed@riderwoodlife.com.
