Caring Connections grew from a collaboration of residents, professional staff, and area
experts. It is a resident initiative, with support from the Riderwood Resident Services
Department. The Caring Connections Committee members are the core of the vision,
which began in 2018 under the leadership of the Continuing Education Committee and
resident co–chair Mina Wuchenich.
Caring Connections Mission
We educate residents and empower them and their families and other supporters, in advance of need, to act and gain peace of mind about the various transitions experiences in the aging process.
