News and Updates
ECO-R authored a request for Riderwood management to begin creating an Environmental Sustainability Action Plan. The RAC approved it and presented the call for a plan to both the Riderwood Board (National Senior Communities) and Riderwood Management on Nov. 21. You can read the statement HERE.

The Environmental Coalition at Riderwood facilitates communication, cooperation, and coordination among Riderwood’s various environmental groups. The ECO-R advocates for best environmental policies and projects and encourages environmental education for all staff and residents of the Riderwood Community.

The vision of ECO-R is to address the existing serious environmental threats to our planet by creating and implementing a model for action on climate change, sustainability, and biodiversity in the Riderwood community that can be shared with other retirement communities and similar campuses throughout the United States.
