The PAC’s Encore Series events are held in Encore Theater every month except November. The January through October events are at 7:30 PM on the third Friday of the month. The December event is at 3 PM on the first Sunday of the month.
This series presents the PAC’s most diverse entertainment, which includes:
- Music (bluegrass, gospel, jazz, contemporary, and chamber)
- Dance (ballet, modern, and ethnic)
- Theater (Broadway and monolog).
Performers are professionals in their respective fields and hail from all over the United States.
Tickets are sold on Monday and Tuesday of the week of the performance in clubhouse lobbies from 4:30 PM until 6 PM. Cash and checks only. Please make checks payable to Performing Arts Council. Tickets are $10 each, and are also sold at the door, if available.
Posters announcing each performance appear two weeks in advance on the clubhouse bulletin boards and in all elevators.
Ticket Categories
Encore Theater seats 300 people made up of walker, wheelchair, and standard seating. Tickets are available in the categories shown in the table. For standard seating, Standard-A tickets are sold until exhausted, then Standard-B, then Standard-C.

It is important that you have the appropriate ticket for your seating needs. If you use a walker or wheelchair and have an A, B, or C category ticket, and we have no spaces left, we will have to refund your money and deny you entry. We want to avoid this because we want everyone to have an opportunity to enjoy our performances. However, space is at a premium and we must set up our spaces appropriately.
Encore Theater Entrance Process
Walker and Wheelchair Tickets
Residents with wheelchair or walker tickets and their companions are encouraged to go down to the theater level whenever you arrive. You will be seated in the theater lobby. Thirty minutes before the performance, you will be admitted to the theater and to the designated seating areas. Companions will be seated near these patrons. Companions of those in the first row will sit in the row directly behind the walker patron as we have limited walker seats. We will hold the second row open for companions of those with walkers in the first row until 15 minutes before the performance when the second row will be opened to anyone with a ticket.
Standard Tickets
After all present wheelchair and walker patrons are seated, our first floor ushers will allow standard ticket holders to come down for seating. We will seat patrons holding A-tickets first, then patrons holding B-tickets, and finally, patrons holding C-tickets.
Stairs and Elevators
Patrons who wish to use elevators are encouraged to use both the elevator in the lobby near the dining room and the elevators in the Forest Crossing link. When exiting the theater and using the front lobby elevator be sure to keep to the right so those who wish to use the stairs have a clear path.
